Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays! Holidays are getting so much funner the older my boys get! We started off the day at Brynleigh's All-Star game and then off to the Layton parade. Drake got a little nervous and pretty much stayed right by me. Jax layed on a blanket and kicked those cute, chubby little legs for Grandpa.
We of course had our usual "all day at the park until fireworks" thing and we had the best time. Grandpa Jeff made AMAZING ribs, that we all fought over, along with other deliciousness! Kristi did face-painting, or "arm" painting in Drake's case.
The fireworks were FABULOUS as usual!

We invited friends and family to the Classic Fun Center in Layton for a BIG party!

My HOMEMADE Wonder Pets cake....that kept me up until 2:30 am and up bright and early the next morning to finish. I had the Birthday Boy by my side eating the frosting as I finished the cake!

We ended the birthday party at a decent time so all the men could attend Priesthood Conference. Drake was still in the mood to party so we went to Red Robin with Grandma Arnold, Aunt Abi, Uncle Ashton and Aunt Paige while the boys attended Priesthood. Drake got a chocolate milkshake AND an ice cream dessert....which he LOVED!

We had a BLAST at Cherry Hills over the summer!
Jax was only 8 weeks old and I was sooooo nervous about taking him but we ended up having the funnest time! I cant say that Drake LOVED the water but he LOVED to eat snacks and "people watch" which is definately a "Pitcher" thing. I made sure we went when I knew help would be there.....thanks to the Kinnes's and Arnold's.

What an incredible day this was! Jax is so lucky to surrounded by the people who love him most! We are so thankful for the Priesthood in our lives. The blessing was given at 9:00 am in the West Point 10th ward. Afterwards we went to Grandma and Grandpa Arnolds house for brunch where we served the famous Ham and Swiss Croissant sandwiches.....60 sandwiches which were literally gone in 60 seconds!

Im pretty sure that Drake fell in LOVE with his little brother just like mommy and daddy did! Drake stayed with Grandma Arnold the three days I was in the hospital and each and every day I couldnt wait to see Drake.....I missed him SO much!

Drake LOVES to be right by me when I nurse Jax and he has to help me burp him!

These two have pretty much been inseperable since Jax xame into our family

To say that I had some "difficulties" I guess would be a MAJOR under statement while in the hospital! But through it all Brian and I ARE and HAVE been so blessed with a CALM, HANDSOME baby boy whom we are SO in Love with.

Our Sweet little Jax graced us with his presence on May 7, 2010 at 10:53 p.m. The second he came out he was not making a single noise! The doctor immediately placed him on my chest and the tears literally burst out of my eyes. He looked into my eyes like a little angel and just stared at me.....still not making a peep! There are no words to describe that moment. All I can say is that my sons are the biggest blessings! Motherhood is truly my TOTAL Joy.....

OK I'm BACK! I have been putting this off for waaaaaay to long! I just decided to start fresh and TRY to keep up. We have had some LARGE changes in the Arnold home. I'm almost 31 weeks pregnant and I'm having another little Mr. Arnold. I'm very excited!! Drake is definaltely approaching the big 2 years old. Don't get me wrong.....he is hilarious and pretty much the light of our lifes but for the first time yesterday I was told I was MEAN! Not gonna lie, it broke my heart! Brian partnered up with two other guys and started a law firm....Nicholls, Wadsworth & Arnold. And OH MY he is busy! Other than that we are happy and healthy and ready for our new addition!!

We had the BEST Christmas EVER last year! My favorite gift was the diamond wedding band I have been wanting and Brians favorite gift was his ski boots. Drake's favorite gift was his tent that has these tunnels coming out of it. We had so much fun having our very OWN family Christmas morning, video camera and all! P.S. I'm 4 months preggers in this picture.....just sayin!

This little Tea Party was a while ago, but then its been a while since I posted last!

A few of our friends decided to throw a Sexy Tea Party for one of our last friends getting married and it turned out ADORABLE! I was in charge of food so I did my research on Tea Party food so here is what I made:

Cucumber Tea Sandwiches, Egg Salad Tea Sandwiches & Chicken Almond Tea Sandwiches and they were delicious!

I also made homemade chocolate chip scones from SCRATCH! This was a BiG deal for me cause I dont bake. Again.....yum!

The decorations were AmAzInG! Jamie and Mandee did such a cute job.

Viva Las Vegas

Brian and I took a much needed vacay ALONE for the first time in a few years! We headed to Las Vegas the end of July and had a BLAST! We sat by the pool each day and had tons of fun just sitting! I love Pina Coladas so I Brian goes and buys me one that costed $12.00 and it tasted horrible! One sip and that was all I could do. What a waste! I could have bought two shirts from Ross for the price of that one drink!

This guy tried his best to totally relax but he just couldn't do it! He ended up working and being on the phone part of the trip. But then I realized that because of his hard work we get to go on vacations! How thankful I am for a husband that works so hard and still makes the time to play with us.

I think one of my favorite parts of the trip was all the amazing restaurants! We ate the BEST food! This restaurant was called Del Toro and it was decicious italian....my favorite!

You know.....sometimes you gave to grab life by the horns. Cheesy! I love it! Ultimate man picture.

We went to our first show and fell in love with it! We now are determined to see many more Vegas shows! La Reve was absolutely incredible!

FAVORITES! Here is just a few.....if you cant find the little man he can usually be found in this red chair with a book. He is so into books! He loves them! After every turn of the page he will do a little giggle and it makes us laugh. He loves to look at himself after he is all ready for the day and say "cheese" in the mirror. Like I said! Its ALL about Drake these days! He is getting so BIG and so CUTE! He is saying lots of words which crack me up everytime he says them! I make him say things ALL day long! He is saying mom, dad, dog, banana(nana), please(peees), baby, go, cat, Jesus, papa and thats all I can think of right now! He loves to play with his cousins and he loves to be outside.

These pictures are hilarious! He loves to play with daddy! Everytime Brian lays down on his stomach he does one of two things....he will pull his hair or get on his back for a ride! When he gets on his back he'll say " go, go" and Brian takes him for a crazy ride!

Drake has finally gotten used to the grass but for a long time he absolutely HATED it! When we would try to put him down he would do all he could to not be in that grass!

St. George!

I had to post our latest family picture!! I think its HILARIOUS!! We are totally calm but someone else is NOT!
Anyways....we had so much fun in St.George! Brian had to drive to and from St.George 4 times that week due to work so he might rate his fun different from mine! I was very grateful that he did that so we could have "dada" there as well!

My cute sisters were there as well and they put together a little Easter Egg Hunt and the kiddos loved it!!

Drake and I had fun sitting in the hot tub...he was NOT a fan of the other pool! He would scream and scream! Brian was at the gym so he missed out!

My sisters were in another condo and we tried to keep our visits on the shorter side because one by one they all got the flu! I wish we could have had more of our late night chats....they are the best! We spent most of the time with Brians family, we had such a fun time! St.George is one of those trips we look forward to every single year and it never lets us down!

Skiing this winter has been a BLAST! We went skiing around ten times or so and I waited and waited for some decent pictures of us and it never really happened! Oh well! So.....for our last Big Hoorah at POW MOW we went up with Scott and Tara on her Birthday. The picture below is of Scott totally CRASHED in the trees! We were all just skiing along, enjoying the absolutely beautiful scenery in Cobabe Canyon and we see some skis in the air! Nothing else but snow and skis! As we go farther along, we see, nestled in the tree, Scott! We died laughing! He was trying to ski backwards and obvioulsy has not mastered that one yet!!

Whoever has not been skiing at POW MOW, you have to go! The snow is literally amazing! It is the largest privately owned ski resort with the best runs and high speed lifts! You would not be disappointed! I cant get enough of it up there.....not to mention the amazing food when your so totally hungry after hours of skiing!

Well everyone.....Today is our 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! WOW!! I just have to say that this has been the best four years of my life! Today we watched our wedding video and I literally fell in love with him all over again, as I sat their and cried my eyes out! What a ride it has been! Thanks babe for making this the best years of my life! Only 60 more years to go.......if you can handle me!

Well our little sweetie pie had to get TUBES in his ears! He had 8 ear infections over the course of 6 months and a ruptured ear drum! I was soooo over it! So thank heavens for the tubes! He was like a new baby.....he is laughing like he has never laughed before! Still not sleeping through the night but he is getting better and better. This is Drake with the anastheseologist before his big surgery, he went right to him and down the hall they went! 2 hours later we were going home!

My sister and I took the kiddos to play at Burger King and they loved it! I had to post these pictures of Drake, I think I have a major crush on him! Ladies.....back off!He's MINE!

I dont know what it is about blogging but the longer you wait to blog, the harder it is to get on and do it!! Life has been CRAZY at the Arnold home!! Between Drake's ear infections, the Holidays, my 25th Birthday(Ahhhhh!) and house hunting, I just have not had the time to BLOG!! So here we are almost a month later to update you all on the latest pictures.....

Brian took me to The Roof Restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for my birthday at it was a Beautiful sight! We had a gorgeous view of the Salt Lake Temple and the food was amazing...I think I ate a whole plate of shrimp! I have to say I was spoiled by my sweet Husband....he likes to say that from December to April he non-stop is buying presents! I love that!! There is Christmas(December), my Birthday (January), Valentines, Our Anniversary (March), and Mothers Day and Drakes Birthday in April! WOW good thing money grows on trees!!

We were invited to a party at "MY GYM" and Drake had the best time playing in the BALLS and crawling around with his cousin Hudson.

This Christmas was so fun! It is the best having kids to share it with! It was our first Christmas in our own place! Drake got this cute horse so he can just bounce away! If any of you know Drake, you know he loves to jump and bounce so this gift was PERFECT! We spent Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with Brians family......until next year......

I know this post is a little late but I had to wish my sister a HappyBirthday !! WOW 27!!

I have to tell you all what an amazing person my sister Jen is! She has got to be one of the most loving, kind, generous and sincere person in my life. She would do anything for anybody, really she would! Once you have Jen as a friend, she will be on your side and in your corner for life. Jen is one of the few people in my life who truly gets me and who truly has never ever judged me or anyone else. Everyone wants to be around Jen, that explains the party after party that is held at her house! She makes everyone feel comfortable around her....she is one of the only people I feel comfortable around enough to open her fridge or tell her my deepest darkest secrets. Now dont you want to be her friend?? How could you not??
I do have to say that things have not always been peachy! Jen used to hate it, when we were living at home and not married, when I would ask her I I could sleep with her! I liked to be close and snuggle and she DID NOT! She would always tell me to scoot over and MOVE! She hated sharing a bathroom with me because of my endless supply of hair on the floor and in the sink! She hated to clean the bathroom after me! She also liked to steal my new clothes and shoes and wear them before I got a chance and that meant WAR! Well besides those few things I can still honestly say that I love Jen soooo much and I am so glad she is my sister.
Some other things that are so fun about Jen is no matter what day or time it is she is always wanting to hang out and go to lunch! I think we do that at least 3 times a week or more! I love just going over to Jens and hanging out and making treats! we both are into the "sugar" thing so Jen is always down for a good treat! And no matter what she says, we will get pregnant again together! I need my sister for that! This post would not be complete without mentioning what an absolutely amazing mommy she is! Her two little girls act and talk just like her and her little guy just cant get enough of her! I hope that I am half the mom she is. I love you Jen and I am so glad you are my sister and best friend! Happy LATE Birthday!!

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas!

Well the whole Arnold clan decided to take a little trip to Temple Square to see the lights and it was beautiful! Something about going and seeing the lights really puts me in the mood for Christmas!

I love watching the Nativity scene and listening to our beloved past prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley, tell us the story when Jesus was born in a stable to Joseph and Mary. I hope that my family always remembers the true meaning of Christmas....this is what it is all about.

We decided to take the Trax to Temple Square and that was pretty interesting with a little guy and a stroller but we made it! So this is us waiting for our ride!

Spence you were right!! His wallet was found UNTOUCHED!! It was found in the conference room he was in earlier that day. Funny thing is that he called there and asked a lady to check and she got back on the phone so quick and said she couldnt find it...she needs to be fired!! The company ended up calling today and said they found it on the chair he was sitting in.....wahoo!! That still doesnt help with Black Friday due to the cards being canceled but I am sure we will find a way....all I have to say is prayers are answered!

OK so..... Brian lost his wallet today! I hate that! He thinks it fell out of his jacket pocket. So of course he called and canceled our cards and luckily nothing was charged...yet! The crappy thing is that he had some really important things in there..... his grandpa always had this certain $100 dollar bill in his wallet and after he passed away his wife kept it until we got married and she gave it to Brian. Brian said no matter how poor we were in life he would never spend it...it meant so much to him. Another important little item was his Utah State BAR card...hello!! We waited over three years for that little gem and it is also gone! And not to mention our half way full Cafe Rio card...I am sure there had to be one in there!
Anywho....life gets pretty crazy sometimes! I dont know about you but losing something like that makes you feel naked! Here is what I think....either some good citizen will have the graciousness to call or some loser will look inside, realize there was not any cash($100 bill hidden, oh and an ounce of silver!) and toss it in the garbage! Didnt the loser who stole it realize that we had some Black Friday shopping to do? OK pity party is now over.

What a great day this was!! Brian got sworn in by the Supreme Court as an Attorney. These are the Supreme Court Justices. That was pretty neat to see!

Drake had his 6 month appointment on October 17th. He is getting so big!! It breaks my heart!! Brian loves it though because that means he gets to have a little sidekick in a few more months. This is Drakes doctor, Dr. Tensmeyer, we love him! Drake weighed 18 pounds 10 ounces which put him in the 60% and was 27.25 inches which put him in the 70%. He also had to get shots which he HATED! This picture is right after he finished crying. It is so sad but so cute at the same time!

Well waking up to my husband (early this morning!) throwing up was NOT what I had in mind for his perfect birthday! You only turn 28 years old once! Right? And since becoming an Arnold, birthdays are not just another day! Birthdays are celebrations! You get to party on your actual birthday which is ALL day and then the following Sunday. I told Brian since it was his Birthday he gets a post! He said I could not make it cheesy...us morman girls like the cheesy though! But really though I just wanted to let him know how much I love him. These past 3 years of my life have been such an adventure! This man is so fun and spontaneous..... deciding on a whim to pick up and go watch the Jazz in Seattle are some of the best memories we have! Then our son Drake came into our lives and being able to watch your husband be a daddy is so amazing! He made me fall in love with him all over again. What a blessing he is in my life I will never be able to explain. I love you babe, Happy Birthday!

For the man who has pretty much every electronic thing out there..... Brians birthday is in six days...October 15th. He will be 28 years old!! I cant believe it!! Anyways, like I said, he has everything!

I CUT MY HAIR!!!!!!! Who is in shock??? ME!!!! Last Thursday night I was feeling crazy so I called my sister in law around 8 p.m. and told her I was in the "mood" to cut my hair and if I didnt do it now I NEVER would so at 9 p.m. I went over there and did it!! I wanted a long A-LINE and bangs so this is the result. I am really liking it! The bangs are the biggest shock to me. More people notice the bangs more than the cut....that is until I turn around!! I am planning on growing out my bangs because I love the "swoop" bangs to the side but for now these are fun! I will also probably grow out my hair but again..... I do love A-LINES and all the body I get from it being like this!

We shall see!!

We had such a CRAZY Saturday.....Drake was sin need of some church clothes so we decided to go to Gateway cause the shopping is much better than Layton!! So we ended up getting him some way cute things which led us to working up an appetite. We were walking to California Pizza Kitchen to get my favorite salad (BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad...gotta try it!) and on our way this girl asked us if we were hungry. I told her "no" thinking she was weird but then I looked at her better and she was cute and dressed nice so I decided I could trust her. Then I said "well, why? Any good suggestions?" and she said she worked Tucanos (just like Rodizios at Trolley Square) and that she had coupons for buy 1 get 1 free meals. That was all she needed to say and we headed up there for lunch! It was great...awesome salad bar. So while we were eating we get a phone call from Brians really good friend from Law School letting him know the results were in. We were not expecting them until October!! So Brian had his friend look up his results and.............HE PASSED! So then I immediately start crying! What a blessing!!! We were on cloud nine pretty much. We were just so happy!! We are not much into the PDA (public display of affection) but man were we kissing like 20 times!! He told me to stop crying cause he didnt want anyone to think he was making me cry...I kept crying anyway!

Here is the official letter letting us know that he passed the BAR

Needless to say........He is an official Attorney!! Three years and lots of debt later!!! We were mailed the acceptance letter that day.......I am so proud of him......On to the next chapter of our lives.......

So I think I will wait to have another baby!! Thanks to Kattie's comment!! Sometimes I want what I cant have!! If I really got preggers right now, would I really want to be? I think not. I love feeling good, especially with Drake so small, and I love being able to give all my attention to him! Sorry Brian! My pregnancy with Drake was great besides the AWFUL rash I got..... I was allergic to male DNA! What? Crazy!! So when I was reminded of that, I decided I could wait too. The nice thing is that I am young still and I have all the time in the world. Just wait..... next month I will be pregnant!! Ok I really hope not!! Thanks for your comments........

Was I really that big??

So I know that Drake is only 5 months but for some reason I want to be pregnant again! I know, I know, I am crazy but I really miss it! Plus Drake is getting so big and I already want another one! Drake needs a little brother or sister! Brian says I am nuts but I know if it came down to it he would say OK! So I decided to look at my prego pictures in hopes that it would cure this desire....and it might have worked! I was huge! Granted Drake was over 9 POUNDS!! But I was big.....I didnt feel that big but wow, was I wrong!
Anyways......I think I will wait a while! Plus I would have to stop nursing and i am not ready for that.....either is Drake.
What do you all think? Is this normal?

Jack Johnson!!

Does anyone else heart Jack Johnson?? Brian and I are big fans!! I got him tickets for Law School Graduation and he was so excited. I had never heard of Jack Johnson before I met Brian so Brian bought me all his CD's and I fell in love! So anyways it was a blast! We called it Family Home Evening since we were all together! We started the night out at dinner in Salt Lake at Market Street Broiler...best clam chowder and Salmon ever! Then headed to the USANA Amphitheater. We got there just in time for Jack to play! We ran into some friends and sat with them...it was like the baby section....lots of babies! He played our favorite songs....soooo fun! It was Drakes first concert and he was so good! He loves to be outside. I think we have started a new family tradition!

Brian left to get a drink and came back with a Jack Johnson onesie for Drake and a T-shirt for me...what a sweetie pie! It was even the one I wanted!

So Brian, Me and Drake spent some much needed family time(now that the BAR is over!!!) and went to Fat Cats in Ogden for some bowling. My sister Jen came with her husband Trent and some friends of theirs. We had a blast!! I am sure that Brian would love for me to let everyone know that he won BOTH games! Oh and just a little P.S..... I LOST BOTH!! Not that it matters!!

This post is a little late but I just had to say how happy I am that Brian has finally taken the Utah State BAR and it is over!!!!!!!!! He took it July 29th and 30th, 8 hours each day! After days upon days and hours upon hours of studying I finally have my husband back! He does not get his results back until October sometime but I know without a doubt he did just fine. He had so many people fast for him and his name was put in several temples...Thankyou to everyone who did those things for him and also for your prayers.

So Drake has not been feeling well at all!! I thought my "motherly instincts" were in tact when I thought he was just teething. He had the classic symptoms..... slobber, lots and lots of slobber, runny nose, fever, and did I mention slobber! But Sunday night just put me over the top! He slept horribly! So we wake up Monday morning and the symptoms were way worse and to add to the symptoms, his eyes just kept watering and he had a bad cough. So my instincts really kicked in and I took him to insta-care. I made sure those symptoms were not normal by making a few phone calls to my sisters and I was reassured they were not normal. Plus!!! We dont have insurance until next month!! But really when it came to my little sweetie pie it did not matter the cost one bit! The diagnosis......... he had a COLD. There was not anything I could give him but a little T.L.C. It is now Saturday and he is doing so good!! Nothing is better than a happy baby...right????
Now if I could just get this "sleeping in his own bed thing" down that would be awesome!! Any ideas??? Please help!!!

Our baby is Advanced!!

I think every parent thinks that one time or another! But on Sunday, Brian and I were convinced that Drake is just so amazing and must be advanced because he ROLLED OVER!! Yep, it is true! Our three month old rolled over 3 whole entire times!! I Know!! Your jaw is on the floor!! Ours were too. Can anyone beat that? Well we were beat.... a couple told us, Sunday at the Weber State fireworks, that their baby rolled over after two weeks being born! Talk about stealing our thunder! They did! And your baby might have rolled sooner too but I am still a dang proud mommy! The thing that is so funny is after becoming a parent you find so much joy in the little things... I love that! What will our little guy do next?

4th of JULY...one of my favorites!!

The 4th of July has got to be one of my favorite holidays! I was a total traitor because I went to the Kaysville parade and it was not near as white trash as the Layton parade! Good choice! I did however go to the Layton fireworks. One of my family's favorite thing to do is people watch(a.k.a. make fun of people) dont act like you dont do it! It was hilarious! I love Layton fireworks for that reason......good times. Anyways we had tons of fun and good food. Drake was so exhausted that we had to leave right before the fireworks though...he was a trooper the whole day right up until that point. I do have to say that holidays are so much funner with kids, I cant wait until Drake is a little bigger and he can really have fun with all his cousins. Ok...be honest...is my family the only "people watchers"? If so....we are jerks!

We must be mormon.......LOTS of kids! Almost all of my cute neices and nephews with Grandma and Grandpa. This is one you have to click on and take a look up close! So funny.....I love how my parents are laughing!

I had so much fun at my baby shower! All my friends and neighbors came and got Drake some way fun things...... I think the gift of the day was his new stroller. I put it together! I repeat, I put it together because once again, Daddy is studying for the bar. But it is a Jeep running stroller and it has speakers for my IPOD ....how fun is that!

As I look back over the past three years I cant help but remember how far we have come! We moved to Spokane Washington so Brian could attend Gonzaga Law school in August of 2005. I literally cried for days and days! I thought it would never end! We had friends tell us that were in their third year, Jared and Emily King, that it would fly by and I thought they were just trying to make me feel good! But I can honestly say that it flew by! What a blast we had and the friends we made we will never forget. I am so proud of Brian. The poor guy would get so sick every semester during finals with sinus infections, swollen tonsils, canker sores and back problems because of the stress! He was a new man the second they were over and then we would party like crazy! I waited for this day for three years, Brian had waited his whole life and Drake showed up at the end to party! That was the best ending! I love you Brian, thanks for taking care of me and Drake. Thank you for being the best husband and the cutest dad. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! We made it!!!!!

This our good friends, the North's, little girl Brinley(think I spelled it wrong!) She just loved Drake and wanted to hold him. She was so cute with him! When they took him from her lap she would put out her arms to hold him more. We are really going to miss their family.

Drake went to church for his first time yesterday and he was such a good boy! I think that was the last time he will get to wear that cute outfit though. He is getting bigger everyday! That was our last time in our ward too cause we are moving back to Utah in a week! We were so blessed to have such a neat ward and we will really miss them.

I LOVE my Moby wrap! Drake loves it too. It is a huge piece of fabric and it wraps around your body in a certain way and then there is several different positions you can put the baby in. This happens to be Drakes favorite position right now. I can get things done finally! Most importantly, I can work on my blog and he is just right there with me not making a peep!
